Service satisfaction exceeds targets

During the year Youth Horizons worked with more than 3000 young people and their families and whānau. All three groups were asked to give their views on our service performance for 2018.

The feedback we receive from these groups is a key part of ensuring our programmes meet the needs of our young people and their families. 

Our target is that at least 80% of people completing the surveys are satisfied with our services. The survey findings showed that this target was exceeded across all questions and groups.

The summary versions of the survey results are attached. The findings provide insight into what we’re doing well and potentially where there might be room to strengthen our practice. 

Youth Horizons delivers a range of evidence-based programmes that meet the needs of children, young people, families and whānau from different backgrounds. Our services focus on therapy in the home, parenting support, bringing families back together and foster care and group home placements.
