Operating in: Auckland and Waikato
What we do:
Treatment Foster Care works 24/7 with young people and their family/whānau, utilising therapists and cultural advisors, educational and activity-based programmes.
Who is it for?
Young people aged 12-16 under Oranga Tamariki care who have a history of externalising behaviour and social conduct disorder-related problems and their family/whānau.
The programme operates a point and level system incorporating a high degree of reinforcement to help shape behaviour.
The programme is a wrap-around evidence-based and strengths-based programme of 6 to 12 months duration with the emphasis on successful reintegration to their family/whanau at the completion of the programme.
