Our teams across the country were given the opportunity to have a half-day team bonding afternoon with an activity of their choice as a 'thank you' from the board and CE for their hard work.

To celebrate a year of hard work, our offices got to choose how they wanted to spend an afternoon together.

One of our teams at Youth Service West in Auckland spent their half day of team building at the Escape Room in Auckland City. It was a nice relaxing afternoon for the team and was a well-deserved break after a hard few weeks of workshops and engagement with the young people in their service during the school holidays.

“It gave us the ability to connect and reflect together as a team and was a good reminder to us all of how lucky we are to be a part of an amazing organisation who cares so much about their employees. On behalf of the team, I would like to say a big thank you to you Marion Heeney (CE), the Leadership Team and the Board for giving us this opportunity to have some time away from the office and to allow us the time together for some good team bonding!” - YSW's Practice Leader, Kanorkwan Piusa, pictured below with her team at the Escape Room.

Our Auckland Operations Team spent their half day team event cruising out to Riverhead for lunch.

“It was a well-deserved break for our staff who have all worked so hard over the past year. We would like to thank Marion, the Leadership Team and the Board for showing us their manaaki and aroha in granting us this opportunity, as it really allowed us to engage in whakawhanaungatanga as a team and recharge our wairua out on the water.” – Auckland Operations Administrator, Tanya Furssedonn, pictured below with her Auckland Ops team at Auckland's waterfront.
